Why It Matters

Why the Right Glass For Your Make Matters

Cheaper universal glass exists. It is also how you end up with wind noise at 65, a rain sensor that stopped working, and a lane-assist camera aimed at the wrong part of the road.

01

Exact Fit & Curve

Every windshield is molded for one specific body shape. The correct glass for your make and model seats properly, seals fully, and won't whistle at highway speed.

02

Cameras & ADAS

Many modern vehicles mount a forward-facing camera to the windshield. We recalibrate it in house so lane-keeping and auto-braking read the road correctly after the swap.

03

Built-In Features

Rain sensors, heated wiper parks, acoustic layers, head-up display zones, defroster grids and antennas all vary by model — we match the glass to the features your vehicle actually has.

04

Trim-Level Differences

Two identical-looking vehicles can take different glass depending on trim and options. That's why we confirm your year, make, model and trim before we ever load the van.

Makes & Models FAQ

Common Questions

Do you work on all makes and models?

Yes. We replace windshields and auto glass on domestic, import, luxury, European and electric vehicles. We match the correct glass to your exact year, make, model and trim before we come out, so the tech arrives with the right part rather than guessing on site.

Do you calibrate ADAS after a windshield replacement?

Yes, in house . If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield for lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking or adaptive cruise control, that camera has to be recalibrated after the glass is replaced. We do it alongside the install rather than sending you to a dealership, so there is no second appointment. Tell us your year, make and model and we will confirm whether calibration is required.

Can you replace glass with rain sensors, heating or antennas built in?

Yes. Many modern windshields and rear windows include rain sensors, heating elements, defroster grids, humidity sensors or radio antennas. We source glass with the correct features for your vehicle and reconnect everything before we leave. Glass without those features is cheaper, but it will break functions your vehicle depends on, so we do not substitute it.

Do you work on electric vehicles like Tesla?

Yes. We handle glass for electric vehicles including Tesla, and follow the correct procedures for camera-equipped and acoustic glass. EV windshields are often larger and more raked than a comparable gas vehicle, which changes both the part and the install. Call or text (619) 627-4221 with your model and we will confirm the specific glass your vehicle takes.

Why does trim level change which windshield I need?

Two vehicles that look identical from the outside can take different glass depending on options. A base trim may have a plain windshield while a higher trim adds a rain sensor, heated wiper park, acoustic interlayer, head-up display projection zone or a camera bracket. Each of those is a physically different part. That is why we confirm trim, not just year, make and model.

My model isn't listed. Can you still help?

Yes. The lists on this page are the vehicles we see most often, not a complete catalog. We service every make and model on the road, including work vans, fleet vehicles and classics. Call or text (619) 627-4221 with your year, make and model for a free quote.
